About these terms
These terms govern your use of the PlanningLedger connector at mcp.planningledger.com (the "Connector"). PlanningLedger is a trading name of Alpha Maven Ltd ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 09070132, with its registered office at Unit 302, The Finsbury Business Centre, 40 Bowling Green Lane, London EC1R 0NE. By signing in you agree to them. Our website's terms cover the website.
What we provide
The Connector lets an AI assistant look up UK planning applications, their documents, appeal decisions, Local Plan policies and related public records, and returns records, quotes of up to 40 words, counts and links to each council's own copy. Every tool only reads.
Your free allowance
The Connector is free during its trial. Each person may make 20 searches across documents and 100 quotes a day, reset at midnight UK time, and up to 60 calls a minute of any kind. We may change these numbers; this page will show the current ones.
Not professional advice
The Connector provides information from public records. It is not legal, planning, surveying, valuation or investment advice. What your assistant writes from our records is its own work, not ours: check anything you rely on against the council's own copy, which every result links to, and take professional advice where it matters.
Accuracy
Our records come from third-party public sources and are provided "as is". We compile them carefully but do not promise they are complete, accurate or current. Each result says what we searched; where we haven't searched, we say so.
Fair use
One account is for one person. You may not share an account, get round the allowance or the limits, harvest or bulk-export our records, resell them, use what the Connector returns to build a database or to train a model, or use the Connector unlawfully or in a way that harms it or other people. We may suspend an account that does.
Your account
You sign in with a code sent to your email address. Keep access to that address secure, and tell us at hello@planningledger.com if you think someone else has used your account.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the Connector working, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, and we may change, suspend or withdraw it. We may update these terms; the date above shows when.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited under the law of England and Wales. Subject to that, as the Connector is free, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of it or from reliance on the information it returns.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction.
